Volunteering Oppotunities

Volunteering Opportunities at Orchard Acre FarmAt Orchard Acre we offer the opportunity to volunteer in exchange for your board and lodgings. We are experienced volunteer hosts. To participate you must be a member of either WWOOF and Help exchange .

We do not have any vacancies at present

we have space in october and november 2010

If you have been here and we don't have your photos send them to me gallery.

Volunteers have come to visit us from all over the world; we share our private home, our culture and way of life  in  exchange for enegery and commitment. We believe volunteering truly brings one closer to a real cultural experience. In return we expect only a positive contribution to our farm and family life.

We want you to enjoy your visit, experience our beautiful county and bring home fond memories.  We learn form every volunteer who stays with us and the exchange often leads to lasting friendships.

Orchard Acre Farm has a volunteering policy and code of conduct. To learn more about the spirit of volunteering please visit WWOOF or Help exchange.

The Volunteer Shite Shovellers Union

Fondly established by volunteer Christa from Switzerland, membership of the union is gained by simply being part of the annual process of shovelling horse manure onto the vegetable garden and orchards.  This is an important part of nurturing the soil and keeps our soil  very productive. We are eternally grateful for every shovel full deposited.  Check the volunteer photo library for members.

We have a limited number of volunteer places each season.
To  learn more and make a booking Contact WWOOF or Help exchange.
